As a DIY sublimation hobbyist, I encountered a problem that I wanted to solve. I placed an order for sublimation tumblers, only to discover when they arrived they were not, in fact, sublimation ready. Instead of sending them back, I set about finding a way to apply the coating myself. Hours of research later, I discovered that people had been making their own coatings with store bought polyacrylic varnish. Wanting to find out if this was safe, I reached out to the manufacturers of a well-known brand and was advised that their products were not suitable for sublimation. They could not confirm that their product is safe when heated above 120°F, as it has not been tested above that temperature. Determined to find a safe alternative, my research led me to Subli Vista, which was specifically designed with safety in mind.
After trying Subli Vista on my tumblers, I absolutely loved the results! I went on to try it on ceramic tiles and again, it worked perfectly.
Far too many people are risking their health for their craft, and I decided I had to change that by bringing Subli Vista to the US market. I hope you will love it as much as I do!
